For 13 years, I worked as a web design manager at a large federal agency. It sounds stable and respectable on paper, and in many ways it was. But the stress of that world quietly wore me down in ways I didn’t fully recognize until I finally stepped away. Leaving was scary. It was also the most honest thing I’ve ever done for myself.
Experience & Vision
I’ve been a graphic designer for over 30 years, and making things has never really felt like a hobby to me. It’s just how I’m wired. In 2007, I learned silversmithing and spent years crafting handmade silver jewelry that people actually wore and loved. That experience stuck with me, especially the part where someone picks up something you made and just gets it.

These days I’m drawn to home décor, the kind of pieces that don’t end up in a drawer somewhere; like decorative tiles, serving trays, pieces that actually belong somewhere in your life. I’m also drawn to repurposing things that were headed for the trash, finding what’s still good in them and turning that into something worth keeping.
Nothing here is mass-produced. Some pieces will never be made again. I’m okay with that.
